Money and relationship questions can be deeply personal. We have designed Married Finances so you can read our guides and use our tools without creating an account or handing us the details of your household.

This page describes what the current site does in plain language.

Your entries stay in your browser

When you type numbers or answers into a Married Finances calculator, worksheet, or interactive tool, the calculation happens in your browser.

Those entries:

  • are kept in temporary browser-tab memory;
  • are not sent to our server, analytics, or error-reporting services;
  • are not added to the page address;
  • clear when you reset the tool, move to another page, or leave the page; and
  • are not turned into a profile about you or your household.

Closing a page does not remove a screenshot, copied text, downloaded file, or printed page that you chose to create. Those copies remain wherever your device, app, download folder, printer, or clipboard placed them.

Browsing Married Finances

The current site does not offer reader accounts, comments, a newsletter signup, or an on-site contact form. It does not load advertising trackers, session-replay software, or browser analytics.

The services that deliver any website still receive ordinary technical request information needed to return a page, such as the requested address and network connection details. Your calculator and worksheet entries are not part of those requests.

Emailing us

Our contact link opens your own email service. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it.

An email you send may remain in your sent-mail folder, pass through the email providers involved, and arrive in our inbox. Please send only the information needed for us to understand your question. Do not include passwords, full account numbers, identity documents, private financial records, medical records, or details that could put someone at risk.

We link to research, public agencies, professional organizations, and safety resources when they can help you check a claim or find appropriate support.

Once you follow an outside link, that website controls its own collection, cookies, and privacy practices. Married Finances cannot control what another site records.

Practical privacy choices

You can use our guides and tools without giving us your name or email address. Use the reset control when you are finished with a tool, and create a print or download only on a device and in a location you trust.

For a privacy question about Married Finances, contact our team. Please begin with the page or feature involved rather than sending sensitive records.
